
High-Precision LSR Microfluidic Chip for Medical Diagnostics
Challenge
A leading medical device manufacturer required a microfluidic chip with extremely tight tolerances (±0.05mm) for in-vitro diagnostic applications. The component needed to be biocompatible, transparent, and capable of withstanding repeated sterilization cycles.
Solution
We developed a custom Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) solution using medical-grade, two-component material. Our precision molding process achieved tolerances of ±0.03mm, exceeding client requirements. The LSR material provided excellent biocompatibility (USP Class VI, ISO 10993 certified) and optical clarity for fluid visualization.
